Description: This art poster print depicts life on the farm in the rural South during the 1930s. It is called "August Day" and it is a picture of a hard working farmer getting a drink of cool water in the middle of a hot day. This poster is printed on Ultra White 80 lb. Cover Stock with outside dimensions of 18" X 24". The image size is 12" X 18.5". It is from a LIMITED EDITION. The original painting from which this print was made was painted in oil by Richard Loyd in the 1960s. The artist was born to the rural Arkansas life in the hard years of the 1920s. Richard Loyd worked the land and tended the stock along with his father, mother, brother and sister; so honest sweat, country music and strict Christian family life form the background from which he draws the atmosphere for his powerful paintings. This print will be shipped together in a tube the shipping cost is $8.95. We can only ship to the Continental U.S. lower 48 states only (sorry, we cannot ship to Hawaii, Alaska, or to other countries).
